Janiyah, 8

Janiyah is a described as an energetic, spunky girl. She is a natural leader and very routine-oriented. She does well with other children, especially older children ages 12-15. She loves attending church and enjoys choir time and enjoys playing outside and traveling. While traveling, Janiyah requires a patient adjustment period to transition from “home and school time,” to “travel time.” She enjoys being social with peers but does well with smaller classroom sizes where she can receive more one-on-one attention from her teachers. She also loves animals, playing outside, and is experienced with horses. Janiah reports that playing in the dirt is her “favorite all time,” activity. Her favorite movies are The Little Mermaid live action and Frozen. She likes to play with Pokémon cards, her kitchen set, and her Frozen castle. Janiyah would do well with a family that has a mother and father figure, attends church regularly, and has an established routine in their household. She would do well placed with older children as well.

Janiyah’s Adoption ID is #107470570

Child abuse is preventable
We can help change the lives of many children and teens.

A hallmark of PSF’s system of care is our belief that child abuse is preventable. We have found that by providing resources and supports to families in need on the front end, many can avoid reaching the crises that lead to formal child welfare involvement functions.
